Natural Bridge Caverns open DAILY!

Natural Bridge Caverns is one of the world's premier show caverns. Discovered in 1960 by local cavers, this family-owned and operated natural wonder is the largest cavern in Texas. There are five cave tours of two distinct and stunning caverns, as well as above-ground adventures of a different kind, including a ropes course, zip rails, a 5,000 square foot outdoor maze, and an interactive "gem panning" activity. Natural Bridge Caverns is also home to the deepest venue in Texas, the Ballroom, with regular concerts and events. More of the cavern is still being discovered; the Wuest family, along with their in-house caving team, is still actively exploring new areas in the massive system. Natural Bridge Caverns is a designated State Historical Site and National Natural Landmark of Historic Places.

Breathtaking views around every corner, the Discovery Tour is a journey through the chambers first discovered at Natural Bridge Caverns. Informed tour guides will walk you through the cavern with educational stops along the way. These awe inspiring and spectacular natural formations, including soda straws, flowstone, stalagmites and stalactites have grown over thousands of years - and thanks to our ongoing stewardship, continue to grow today.

Note: Estimated tour time is 75 minutes and is 3/4 of a mile long. It contains lots of stairs and ramps. Please arrive 30-45 minutes before your designated tour time.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes which provide good traction on steep, wet surfaces. Strollers are not recommended.

    Discovered completely hidden underground, the Hidden Wonders Tour now takes you through new chambers filled with expertly lit delicate formations, and a natural, spectacular ballroom (available for events!). Featuring the B.A.T. - the Belt Assisted Transport - the only conveyor system ride out of a cavern in the world, and a sound and light show designed to tell the geological story of this incredible cavern. Led by knowledgeable guides, you’ll be amazed at the beauty and vastness formed through a process of rock, water, and time.

      Twisted Trails Course Plus Clip & Climb

      Valid for one (1) Twisted Trails & Clip and Climb Course on the date and time chosen. Includes Ropes Course with Zip Rails and Climbing Towers.

      Get the adventure going on this 60-foot-high ropes course. Guests will have up to 45 minutes to test their balance on our four-level ropes course, where traditional elements include vertical rope ladders, double beams, and lily pads. Test your agility, balance, and strength on the weave walk, squid steps, and twisted rope. Start out on the lower levels to build your confidence or quickly make your way to the top, the choice is yours.

      While traversing through the ropes course, you can transition seamlessly to one of our seven zip rails. With over 685 total feet of suspended track, you can soar high over the tree canopy. It’s like riding a zip line, but the best part is you are in control of what challenges and routes you take as you navigate to the zip rails.

        Lantern Tour

        The Lantern Cavern Tour is a very exclusive and limited tour available only once per day (typically in the morning). The tour allows guests on a guided tour of the Hidden Wonders Cavern only seeing it lit by lanterns as the early explorers did. This tour is available year round.

        This is the first tour of the day at the Caverns.
